Anaspec Inc. of San Jose, Calif., an integrated proteomics solutions provider, has announced that it will manufacture and distribute three fluorescent dyes developed by BD Biosciences, a subsidiary of Becton Dickinson and Co. of Franklin Lakes, N.J. The HiLyte Fluor 750 Bis-NHS ester labels protein amines, the Calcein AM labels viable cells and the DilC12(3) labels neuronal projections and lipid bilayers in other cell forms.
