Applied Imaging Corp. of San Jose, Calif., has announced that it will be acquired by Genetix Group, the New Milton, UK-based cell biology, proteomics and genomics health technology group. The cash transaction, valued at $18.3 million, is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year, subject to approval by company stockholders.
