Brysen Optical Corp. of Safety Harbor, Fla., has become a unit of Flir Systems Inc., a commercial infrared company that also is involved in optical design and fabrication. The Portland, Ore., company will utilize the acquired company's optical coating expertise to increase the scale and efficiency of its operation.
