CDT, Bayer AG Sign LEP Materials Agreement

CAMBRIDGE, England, May 2 -- Bayer AG (Leverkusen, Germany) and Cambridge Display Technology (CDT), developer and owner of the intellectual property for light-emitting polymer (LEP) technology, have signed a commercial support agreement for the commercialization of critical materials used in the manufacture of LEP displays. As part of the agreement, Bayer AG will manufacture, sell and market Baytron products to LEP display developers and manufacturers and CDT will provide technical support for their use.
