CLC bio of Cambridge, Mass., has signed an agreement with J. Craig Venter Institute of Rockville, Md., a not-for-profit genomic-focused research facility. The new agreement covers a multiyear license for the company’s suite of bioinformatics products. The partners believe that this will provide a standardized way of developing custom software and specialized algorithms.
