Carbon Nanotubes As Optical Antennae

ITHACA, N.Y., Jan. 6, 2011 — Just as walkie-talkies transmit and receive radio waves, carbon nanotubes can transmit and receive light at the nanoscale, Cornell University researchers have discovered.
