Companies Develop Automotive Head-Up Displays

Microvision Inc. of Redmond, Wash., and Visteon Corp. of Van Buren Township, Mich., are collaborating to produce head-up display sample units that will meet stringent automotive environmental requirements. Microvision has delivered advanced prototype head-up displays based on its laser-based scanned-beam technology to Visteon, which is expected to use the samples to demonstrate the performance characteristics of the technology and to refine the final commercial product requirements.Read full article
