Compound Photonics Announces Opening of MicroLED Innovation Acceleration Center

CHANDLER, Ariz., Dec. 8, 2020 — Compound Photonics announced the opening of a microLED innovation acceleration center. According to a press release, the facility will establish the first known fab in the world dedicated to accelerating the time-to-market of sub-5-μm-pixel monolithically integrated microLED displays. The facility features an approximately 15,000-sq-ft Class 100 cleanroom, as well as optical and electromechanical labs to enable prototyping for complete optical systems.
