Cynosure Inc. of Westford, Mass., has received FDA approval for its pulse dye laser for the treatment of pigmented lesions, including freckles, solar lentigines, café au lait birthmarks, scars and warts. The 585-nm laser is offered in the Cynergy laser workstation and was cleared earlier for the treatment of vascular lesions.
