Structured Materials Industries Inc. of Piscataway, N.J., has received Phase II funding from the US Army Research Office. The award, worth $750,000, will enable the company to develop a class of compact, efficient, voltage-tunable radio frequency filters for use up to the Ka band (26 to 40 GHz). The device could be used in military and data, radar and civilian communications systems.Read full article
