Dynasil Unit Wins $3M for Nuclear Detectors

WATERTOWN, Mass., Dec. 9, 2011 — The RMD Research, a subsidiary of Dynasil Corp. of America, received $3.65 million in contracts to develop nuclear detectors from the Department of Homeland Security’s Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO). The contracts will foster Dynasil’s continued research and development of gamma and neutron radiation detectors capable of identifying illicit nuclear materials.
