FLIR Awarded $48.1M for Sensor Upgrade

In an agreement with the U.S. Department of Defense valued at $48.1 million, FLIR Systems Inc. will be the lead integrator in the modernization of the U.S. Army’s Nuclear Biological Chemical Reconnaissance Vehicle (NBCRV) system. Under the agreement, FLIR will develop a platform-agnostic modular mission payload that will integrate chemical, biological, and radiological sensors into a flexible command and control system.
