GigOptix Expands ASIC Presence in Japan

PALO ALTO, Calif., Dec. 8, 2010 — High performance electronic and electro-optic components maker GigOptix Inc. announced it has signed with Solekia Ltd. to expand its ASIC product distribution in Japan. The semiconductor and component device trading company will offer GigOptix’ structured ASIC devices and standard cells along with local designs and sales support to Japanese customers that focus particularly on the industrial and medical markets. “Solekia is a superb addition to the GigOptix distributor network,” said Anil Chaudhry, director of marketing for the ASIC products at GigOptix....Read full article
