To strengthen its position in the prism-based line-scan camera industry, machine vision camera manufacturer !%JAI Inc.%! of San Jose, Calif., has acquired TVI Vision Oy of Helsinki. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Under JAI’s umbrella, TVI Vision, a manufacturer of line-scan cameras for industrial machine vision applications, will continue to operate as an independent entity with its own sales channel and production base in Helsinki.
