From 4 to 6th February, two members of the Knight Optical USA team were on stand at the SPIE-organised event at the Moscone Center, San Francisco, California, to welcome attendees to the custom capabilities of the trusted component supplier. This year’s event has presented us with further exponential growth for our high-quality, custom-made optical components; which a particular spike in demand for our high-performing renowned Infrared (IR) Optics. Commenting on their popularity, USA Branch and Sales Manager, Courtney Buratczuk, said: “All Knight Optical’s IR Optics were greatly received at Photonics West 2020; however, there was a distinct interest in our Silicon and Germanium components. Not only were visitors impressed by the ‘outstanding’ quality of these optics, but they were also enthralled by our ability to meet any specification with custom-made optical components for seamless integration with any application. “It wasn’t just our IR Optics that garnered attention; there was a great deal of traffic on stand looking for ZnSe, Prisms, Aspheric Lensesand Beamsplitters; to name but a few.
