Kodak to Help Build Imaging System for NASA

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Sept. 11 -- Eastman Kodak Co.'s Commercial & Government Systems unit has been selected as part of a TRW-led team to build NASA's James Webb space telescope (formerly known as next-generation space telescope), the successor to the Hubble space telescope. Under contract to TRW Inc., Kodak will integrate and test the optical telescope element of the James Webb space telescope payload that will capture images and information from outer space.
