Korean Photonics Institute Buys Veeco Epitaxy System

PLAINVIEW, N.Y., Jan. 16, 2013 — The Korean Photonics Technology Institute (KOPTI) has purchased a Gen20 molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) system from Veeco Instruments Inc. for high-power GaAs-based laser diode research. The MBE system is an ultraflexible tool with a design configurable for III-V and emerging materials.
