Laser optics manufacturer LBP Optics has achieved certification to the internationally recognized ISO 9001:2015 standard. This independent assessment was conducted by the British Assessment Bureau, a leading certification body. LBP Optics is now able to display the British Assessment Bureau-quality shield and ISO 9001:2015 logo to demonstrate its conformance to the standard. ISO 9001 was first introduced in 1987 and requires organizations to demonstrate that they have a quality management system in place to ensure consistency and improvement. “We’re particularly pleased to have achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification as it underlines our commitment to our customers and our focus on quality,” said Paul Maclennan, managing director of LBP Optics. “Not many customers get to see their suppliers’ back-office activities.
