LMI Technologies Acquires AI, IIoT Inspection Company FringeAI

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb. 1, 2021 — 3D scanning and inspection company LMI, a producer of vison-based sensors for applications in factory production, has acquired FringeAI, an AI and IIoT (industrial internet of things)/5G inspection company based in Boston. FringeAI provides its integrated deep learning software suite, edge devices, and IIoT/5G-connected cloud services to multiple markets.
