Lightwave Logic Inc. will provide the University of Colorado’s Guided Wave Optics Laboratory with organic nonlinear optical polymers in support of a Boulder Nonlinear Systems’ (BNS) effort to develop a 3-D imaging laser radar system prototype. “This will be the first direct sale of our materials and validates that our Perkinamine family of chromophores can enable new toolsets for the development of next generation devices with advanced capabilities,” said Lightwave Logic chairman and CEO Tom Zelibor. “Even though this represents only a small amount of our material and revenue, if successful it could lead to more significant sales.
