Firstsight Vision Ltd. has released Issue 3 of its Vision Elements: The Machine Vision Handbook, focusing on vision components and systems. The company says it contains 40 percent more information than the previous edition, offering new sections on filters, high-speed imaging, UV and IR lighting, GigE Vision and GenICam technologies, and systems including computers configured with vision technology. Each product section provides a technical overview of the devices and their application in machine vision systems. This format is designed to assist customers with such issues as getting the correct illumination for a specific application. There is now more emphasis on the performance of product series, and a full order code for each item is provided.
