DARPA has awarded a $6.7 million Phase I contract to Kitware Inc. of Clifton Park, N.Y., for its Video and Image Retrieval and Analysis Tool program. The award will fund the development of a video analyst workstation, called the Video and Image-Based Retrieval and Analysis Tool (VIBRANT), which will filter and prioritize large amounts of archived and streaming video, enabling clearer content to the analyst.Read full article
