Novel Intense Beam Pattern For Microscopy, Industrial Laser Materials Processing

The discovery of a thin, intense beam pattern, dubbed the “needle pulse beam,” could have applications ranging from imaging in pulse-echo systems to use in conjunction with nonlinear systems and media.
