ON Semiconductor Acquires Aptina Imaging

PHOENIX, June 11, 2014 — ON Semiconductor has acquired Aptina Imaging for $400 million in a push to expand its image sensor business. Aptina manufactures CMOS image sensors for the automotive and industrial markets, which are a strategic focus of ON.
