OSU Engineers Create Transparent Transistor

CORVALLIS, Oregon, April 4 -- Engineers at Oregon State University (OSU) have created what they say is the world's first transparent transistor, a see-through electronics component that could inspire or improve numerous products, such as liquid crystal displays. The advance was reported in Applied Physics Letters, and a patent has been applied for.
