Oclaro to Present Diode Bar Results

SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 18, 2010 – Oclaro Inc., an optical components provider for industrial applications, will present its results on high-power laser diode bars in Quasi Continuous Wave (QCW) operation at Photonics West on Jan. 26 in San Francisco. Demonstrating significant performance improvements, the company’s results show its laser diode bars deliver output powers of more than 550 W at 200 us pulse width and wall plug efficiency levels > 65%.
