Oerlikon Expands Into Spanish Market

TRUBBACH, Switzerland, Feb. 18, 2010 – Oerlikon Solar Ltd., a thin film silicon photovoltaic (PV) production equipment supplier, has announced that Gadir Solar of Madrid, Spain, has used its amorphous thin film silicon PV technology at the solar fabrication plant in Cadiz, Spain. The latter company’s plant, one of the largest in Europe, began operation in October 2009.
