Raytheon Books $106M Laser-Guided Bomb Contract

TUCSON, Ariz., June 2, 2013 — Raytheon Co. has booked a $106 million contract for its laser-guided Paveway II bombs. The commercial sale is from an international customer, the defense contractor said. The Paveway line of GPS- and laser-guided bombs has revolutionized tactical air-to-ground warfare by converting “dumb” bombs into precision-guided munitions, said maker Raytheon.
