SPI Lasers UK Ltd. has expanded its presence in China, building on the company’s commitment to growth and support in the region. As part of this growth, Zack Huang has been appointed sales director for China. In this role, he will further SPI Lasers’ ongoing expansion in this important market. “China remains a key market for us and this appointment underlines our strategy of ensuring our customers receive the very best levels of service and support from SPI Lasers,” said Thomas Fehn, CEO of SPI Lasers. “The sales director role perfectly aligns with that vision, improving our existing support infrastructure and ensuring our customer commitment remains a core focus. It’s a strategically important region within which we are fully committed to expanding and building strong relationships with both new and existing partners.” Huang has worked in both the U.S. and China. Among his responsibilities will be to showcase the recently launched high-power CW PRISM and QUBE lasers. SPI Lasers designs and manufactures fiber lasers, and sells its products globally. Its major business operations, including R&D and manufacturing, are located in the U.K., with additional sales and customer support locations in Asia and North America.
