Samsung Licenses QD LED Tech

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., based in Seoul, South Korea, and Evident Technologies Inc. of Troy, N.Y., have entered into a patent licensing and purchasing agreement. Under the arrangement, Samsung has been granted worldwide access to Evident’s patent portfolio for all products related to quantum dot LEDs, from manufacture of nanomaterials to final LED production.
