In conjunction with the Samsung Medical Center-Sungkyunkwan University, SensL of Cork, Ireland, a low-light sensing solutions provider, has announced the completion of the first full-brain PET to be used in a PET/MRI system at the medical center. The use of the company’s silicon photomultiplier detectors in the system will allow operation in the high magnetic field of MRI with no loss in PET performance.Read full article
