High-power laser manufacturer TeraDiode has named Parviz Tayebati the company’s CEO and newest board member. TeraDiode holds the exclusive license for high-power direct diode laser technology from MIT. Prior to joining TeraDiode, Parviz was CEO and co-founder of Azna Corp., a telecommunication lasers company that was acquired by Finisar Corp. in 2007. He also founded and was CEO of CoreTek Inc., which pioneered tunable photonic products for the telecommunications industry.
