Thermo Fisher Acquires Cell-Sorting Tech from Propel Labs

WALTHAM, Mass., Feb. 19, 2021 — Thermo Fisher Scientific has acquired cell-sorting assets from Propel Labs, a wholly owned subsidiary of SIDIS Corp., adding to its existing flow-cytometry offerings and capabilities. Under terms of the agreement, Thermo Fisher’s biosciences business acquires the recently introduced Bigfoot Spectral Cell Sorter and approximately 40 employees.
