Trumpf Ltd. has reported that more than 300 people attended its In-Tech open house, the highest number in its history. During the three-day event, Trumpf received £5 million (~$8 million) in orders for machines spanning its range of technologies. Besides the orders, March was the company’s highest earnings month ever, it said. When compared with March 2010, it increased its order intake by 50 percent. The success translates into Europe as well. The UK subsidiary has demonstrated the strongest recovery when compared with all other European markets, selling 20 units. This initiative already has contributed more than £2.5 million to turnover at the company.
