In Carlsbad, Calif., Visage Imaging Inc., a subsidiary of Mercury Computer Systems Inc., has been granted 510(k) clearance by the FDA to market its CS 3.1 thin client product for use in neuroradiology and oncology applications. It features measurement and postprocessing tools, including advanced 3-D segmentation, analysis based on region of interest and time-value curves. According to the company, CS 3.1 offers improved editing of left ventricular models.
