Zecotek Photonics receives Chinese patent

Zecotek Imaging Systems Singapore Pte. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Vancouver, British Columbia-based Zecotek Photonics Inc., has received notification of a grant of patent rights from the Chinese Patent Office for its LFS (lutetium fine silicate) scintillation material. Aimed at the next generation of positron emission tomography (PET), PET-CT and PET-MRI medical imaging scanners, the material provides high resolution for scanning devices, enhancing diagnosis and increasing patient throughput.Read full article
