Walter A. Shephard, vice president of finance, CFO and treasurer of Zygo Corp., announced his decision to step down from his positions with the company after serving for more than six years. The worldwide supplier of optical metrology instruments, precision optics, and electro-optical design and manufacturing services has initiated a search for Shephard’s successor. Chris Koliopoulos, chairman and CEO, together with Robert Taylor, chair of the audit committee, will lead the company’s board of directors in the search.
