Robert Franz Appointed CEO of Allied Vision, TKH Group Companies

Allied Vision Technologies GmbH, part of TKH Group NV, appointed Robert Franz CEO. Franz will also assume the CEO role for the German 2D Vision companies within the TKH Group.

The eight companies that comprise the TKH Group are active in vision, manufacturing, and connectivity, with a focus on Industry 4.0. The 2D imaging companies under the group umbrella include Chromasens, NET, and SVS-Vistek, as well as Mikrotron and Nerian, which TKH Group added last year.

Franz formerly ran Honeywell’s global optical sensing business, led the Americas region as president for Rittal, and served as senior vice president of global sales and marketing at Datalogic SpA.
