Roohparvar to Lead Tessera Imaging, Optics Unit
Miniaturization technologies provider Tessera Technologies Inc. has named Bob Roohparvar, PhD, as its new president of imaging and optics.
Responsible for the segment’s strategy and operations, Roohparvar will report to Henry R. Nothhaft, the company’s chairman, president and CEO.
Before joining the company, he worked at Flextronics, where he served as president of FlexPower and as president and CEO of Vista Point Technology. Prior to his tenure at Flextronics, he was vice president and general manager for Broadcom. He has also held positions at Fairchild Semiconductor and Xicor.
