Ross Launches Free Optical Calculator App

Ross Optical Industries Inc. has launched a free mobile version of its Optical Calculator, as well as a new online desktop version. The tool allows engineers and technicians to calculate to industry requirements easily and quickly.

The app offers frequently used calculations including effective focal length, f number, centration, sag and radius, aspheric surface, and more.

The new online desktop version of the program replaces an earlier version offered as a download.
