PUCHHEIM, Germany, Sept. 1, 2020 — TechInvest Holding AG, parent company of laser scan system manufacturer SCANLAB GmbH, has taken over a 25% stake in HOLO/OR Ltd., a developer of optical elements for industrial applications. HOLO/OR, based in Ness Ziona, Israel, produces diffractive optical elements for laser beam shaping with high damage thresholds, necessary to achieving working compatibility with high-power lasers.

In addition to the agreement, formalized in August, TechInvest will take over all remaining shares of HOLO/OR in a series of forthcoming steps in the next few years. HOLO/OR will remain independent and collaborate closely with SCANLAB throughout the ongoing proceedings and in the future.
