SPI Lasers Completes HQ Expansion
SOUTHAMPTON, England, Aug. 4, 2018 — Fiber laser developer SPI Lasers UK Ltd. has competed construction of its U.K. manufacturing facility with an increase in manufacturing space and overall footprint.
In addition to the expanded production facility, the new site will also include a new mezzanine floor to accommodate new offices, product development, training areas, meeting rooms, and a staff cafeteria.
“This new facility will allow us to not only enhance our level of customer service and support but will also ensure we can cater to our growing global customer base," said Mark Greenwood, CEO of SPI Lasers. "This new state-of-the-art facility has been purposely built to integrate some of the very latest manufacturing technology, ensuring our products are of the highest possible quality.”
SPI Lasers, a wholly owned subsidiary of the TRUMPF Group, is a designer and manufacturer of fiber lasers for use in materials processing applications.
