Schneider Optics VP Named SPIE Senior Member

BAD KREUZNACH, Germany, Sept. 27, 2012 — Schneider Optics Inc. VP Stuart Singer has been appointed a senior member of SPIE for his contributions to the precision optics industry, the company announced.

“It is like being accepted into the ‘Hall of Fame’ of optics,” said Singer of joining the exclusive circle of senior members.

Singer has more than 30 years of experience in precision optics. He joined Schneider Optics, the US subsidiary of Jos. Schneider Optische Werke GmbH, in 1994 as technical director and has held his current position since 2005.
