Schunk Group Acquires Stake in OptoTech
The Schunk Group is investing in the optical machinery manufacturer OptoTech and taking over 51 percent of the company shares.
OptoTech manufactures and markets machinery, services, measurement technology, and coating systems, as well as software, spare parts, and consumables for the optical industry in Germany and abroad.
The company was founded in 1985 and has its largest location in Wettenberg, Germany. OptoTech employs around 250 staff members.
OptoTech will remain its own business unit and brand within the Schunk Group, and the manufacturing of optics machinery will be developed sustainably.
