Smith Named Strategic Account Manager for CVI Laser Optics, Advanced Thin Films
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., May 19, 2015 — 
Nick Smith has been named strategic account manager for the Laser Optics Group at Idex Corp.
Smith will be responsible for sales of two Idex brands – Advanced Thin Films, manufactured in Boulder, Colo., and CVI Laser Optics, manufactured in Albuquerque – in the eastern Americas.
Previously he worked for RPO, Jenoptik, Edmund Optics and Optimax in applications, manufacturing and process engineering. He has a bachelor's degree in optics from the University of Rochester.
