Asia’s largest trade show for lasers, optics and photonics, Laser World of Photonics China 2016, covers an entire spectrum of the industry, from system components to industrial applications. The focus will be on four areas of photonics: lasers and optoelectronics; optics and manufacturing technology for optics; laser systems for production engineering, imaging and optical metrology; and quality assurance. The show is organized by Messe München/MMI (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., and will be held in Shanghai, March 15-17. More than 800 exhibitors from China and other countries around the world will attend, with thousands of visitors expected. Exhibitors AVT, Basler, CASTECH, Coherent, Daheng Group, Dalsa, Focuslight, GSI, Han’s Laser, HGLaser, II-VI, IPG, Jenoptik, Leica, Laserline, Newport, Nikon, Olympus, Penta Chutian, Point Grey, Qioptiq, Raylase, Reis, Renishaw, Rofin, Spectra-Physics, SPI, TRUMPF, Vieworks, and Zeiss will all participate in the trade show. They will display their latest products and technologies. Photonics Congress China will be held in conjunction with Laser World of Photonics China. This event covers several sectors in lasers and photonics, with topics ranging from the latest research and development in laser technology, laser processing and its applications, to optical technology, advanced laser materials, films and devices, laser security and laser beam analysis. The combination of scientific, research and industrial applications at both the trade show and Congress events supports the exchange between the scientific and industrial sectors and emphasizes its unique practical value. In 2015, Laser World of Photonics China featured more than 700 exhibitors from 20 countries.
