Sporian Microsystems Inc. of Lafayette, Colo., a developer of sensors and sensor systems, has been awarded a US Army contract to develop a small, modular, field-deployable chemical/biological sensor for use in remote monitoring applications. The device’s first target will be airborne biological threats such as Bacillus anthracis (anthrax).
