Stemmer Imaging Acquires Stake in Perception Park
Machine vision technology developer Stemmer Imaging AG has acquired a stake in Perception Park GmbH, based in Graz, Austria.
Perception Park operates in the field of machine vision, with its expertise lying in chemical color imaging (CCI) software technology. Its Perception System & Studio configurable data processing platform renders complex hyperspectral data at the molecular level usable for machine vision. The key technology’s applications encompass the food-processing, mining, health care, and recycling sectors.
With this investment, Stemmer aims to enhance its product portfolio. The purchase price amounts to a “low single-digit million amount,” according to the company.
