Sydor to Supply Picatinny Arsenal

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Sept. 1, 2010 — The US Army Contracting Command, Joint Munitions and Lethality Contracting Center have selected diagnostics solutions provider Sydor Instruments to receive a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) in support of the Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey.

The five-year agreement was awarded to multiple venders and includes an unlimited dollar amount ceiling, with a $500,000 limit on individual call orders.
The diagnostics solutions provider will deliver rapid optical prototyping facility design and oversight support for Picatinny Arsenal Optics Lab facility.

“This BPA is a great opportunity to significantly advance diagnostics for military imaging applications,” said Dan Rao, sales engineer. “Sydor Instruments is uniquely able to design, develop and support custom imaging and diagnostics systems that best support Picatinny’s mission.”

The Picatinny Arsenal is committed to enhancing the effectiveness of the Department of Defense forces through technology transfers that taps and shares all advanced expertise and equipment available.
