TKH Group Acquires SVS-Vistek

TKH Group has announced the acquisition of machine vision company SVS-Vistek GmbH.

The acquisition strengthens TKH’s position in the machine vision industry. Among TKH’s holdings within the machine vision space are Allied Vision, Chromasens, Mikrotron, NET, Tattile, and the recently acquired SVS-Vistek.

According to Peter Tix, head of the TKH cluster, the goal is to become the go-to address for anyone facing complex vision challenges. A press release from TKH states that the companies within the cluster will “further deepen their collaboration on technology, manufacturing, logistics, and sales channel as well as back-office services toward integrated structures to leverage on the group’s potential and deliver more value to customers and partners.”

Founded in 1987, SVS-Vistek began in the sales of optoelectronic components. The company began designing, developing, and manufacturing CCD and CMOS cameras for the industrial sector in 1999.
